TRX Electronics and Pachas Restaurant donate R365 000
VLNR: Jan-Willem Pont (Pachas Restaurant), Maré Smit (Director: Breathtaking NPC), Lizeli Olivier (co-Director: Breathtaking NPC) and Hannes Taute (TRX electronics)
In a remarkable effort of community collaboration and corporate responsibility, Pachas Restaurant and TRX Electronics joined forces to raise an impressive R365,000 for Breathtaking Fundraising NPC, an organization dedicated to improving the lives of individuals living with Cystic Fibrosis (CF) in South Africa.
This significant contribution not only highlights the power of collaboration, but also underscores the urgent need for more corporate partners to support this important cause. Cystic Fibrosis is a multi-organ disease that is often accompanied by frequent hospitalizations, lung transplants, long hours of daily treatment sessions, shortened life expectancy, diabetes and chronic lung infection. Breathtaking Fundraising NPC envisions a future where every individual with Cystic Fibrosis
has access to the most effective treatments available. The organization is currently working on a health economics report to assess the cost-effectiveness of these treatments and the improved quality of life experienced by patients who benefit from modulator therapy. This will serve as a good basis for motivation to ensure that more medical aid funds will cover the most effective treatment for Cystic Fibrosis.
This initiative is crucial to advocating for better healthcare policies and ensuring that no one is left behind in their fight against CF. The recent golf day hosted by Pachas Restaurant and TRX Electronics on March 28, 2025 was not just a day of good sportsmanship; it was a beacon of hope for the SF community. The funds raised will directly support the mission of Breathtaking Fundraising NPC, which includes raising awareness, providing financial assistance to patients, educating healthcare professionals and families on the signs and symptoms of CF, and facilitating the logistics of donated modulators and medical equipment.
We invite other businesses to join us in making a difference in people’s lives. By partnering with Breathtaking Fundraising NPC, your company can play a key role in transforming lives, preventing lung transplants, and making a lasting impact.
Together we can challenge the status quo and ensure that every person living with Cystic Fibrosis has the opportunity to thrive and breathe more comfortably.
Join us in this vital mission. Your support can help us continue our work and expand our projects, ensuring that no one faces the challenges of Cystic Fibrosis alone.
