Meet Layla. She’s eight. She plays GK for her netball team, she’s got a school bag full of normal eight-year-old stuff, and she’s got Cystic Fibrosis.

There’s the Layla everyone sees on the court — and then there’s the Layla who does nebs and physio every single day, even when she doesn’t feel like it. Who’s had hospital stays most eight-year-olds never think about.

Trikafta can change her life. But it doesn’t work for every CF mutation — and even when it can help, it costs more than most South African families can ever afford.
