Meet Wikus, 15 years old, brave beyond measure, and fighting a battle most can’t even imagine.

Wikus was born with Cystic Fibrosis (CF), a rare genetic condition that fills his lungs with thick, sticky mucus and makes every breath a fight.
He has spent more time in hospitals than most do in playgrounds, yet somehow, he keeps his spark.
Between treatments, he’s in his element: gaming, streaming, and connecting online with friends and followers who see more than a diagnosis – they see a fighter.

The Journey So Far

Wikus’s battle began before he could even open his eyes to the world.
At just 9 hours old, he had his first surgery for a blocked bowel.
Two weeks later, another.
By 2015, CF began attacking his liver, and in 2017, he underwent a life-saving liver transplant.

Because his immune system is fragile, Wikus can’t attend school like other teens.
He is homeschooled and often hospitalized for intensive treatments, yet his spirit refuses to slow down.
Behind his gaming screen, he’s found freedom – a world where he can run, build, and breathe easier, even when real life makes that hard.

A Breath of Hope – Trikafta

There’s a breakthrough treatment called Trikafta, a medication that has changed lives for thousands of CF patients around the world.
For Wikus, it could mean:

Easier breathing and fewer infections
Stronger lungs and renewed energy
A chance to live like any other teenager. To stream, laugh, and grow without fear.

But this hope comes with a cost: R400,000 per year.
Without support, this miracle stays out of reach.
