Meet Elonet
“She will not live to see her 13th birthday” was the doctor’s words when I was diagnosed at the age of 6 months back in 1990….
The road was rocky and scary at times but today 34 years later I am as healthy as can be. Living life to my fullest with my life partner and 7 year old twins.
I started with the lifesaving medication Trixacar back in 2022 and my health improved drastically.
From needing 2-3 hospital admission a year to no hospital admission for 2 years…
From needing 2-3l of oxygen 16-20 hours a day to walking almost 30km in New York without a drop of extra oxygen…
From a lung function of 39% to a high of 72% in a matter of 4 weeks.
There is always hope as long as we believe!
Faith and family will move mountains in a journey that you thought won’t be possible.
